Betsy from honduras

Hello folks,

  Today we had a woman named  Betsy come in a speak about her life in Honduras. She lives there and serves there as a missionary. She works with children who need a home. Her story truly is absolutely amazing and inspiring. We were asked if we wanted any one on one prayer so I went up. I find it hard to "hear God" so I told her that and i was in tears. As soon as she started to pray for me I felt a sense of relief, I felt God's presence, i felt surrounded and filled with the Holy Spirit. I can't explain how great I feel. I am so excited to see what God has in store for me. Praise God :)

I think we forget

Hello Folks :),

     I think we sometimes forget what we are saying or thinking or believing, or we forget how much it actually means to the people around us and to God. I know everybody "gossips" because it's so "easy".....but really it should be hard! If you have someone you're calling a friend and you find yourself judging or talking about them behind their back. You should really be looking at yourself and not them. When you hear a lie or rumor about you "friend" and you instantly believe it you should really look at yourself. We always try to pin things on others or always narrow down who people really are to something they did to you or something that annoys you. How come when someones lies to you they are a LIAR! But when you lie or are caught in a lie it's "complicated"? We need to realize that we are in fault sometimes to. We need to learn to humble ourselves and show radical generosity and love. So my challenge for you is to look at your life and see where you need to forgive, forget and just love.
